Team work!

I'm now officially back from traveling for the next month. I have one more planned absence for the summer but then it will be smooth sailing until school starts. Also, I completely forgot to add Marie's spots to all the pages that went up while I was out of town. The spots are now on all of the previous pages. Feel free to check back if you want to see the difference that spots make.

FaeAndLucyBefore heading out of town, I took part in Comic Fury's Pirate Prom Crossover Exchange. All of the images to the exchange were posted while I was out of town and I didn't get to see the extremely lovely image of Fae until last week. Fae's posed next to Lucy from Pulse. I'm basically in awe of how immensely talented Lightfoot, the creator of Pulse, is. I love everything about this picture and feel like I've learned a lot about drawing from just looking at the picture alone.

Wooo! Go Marie, Go Bjorn, Go Fae!
I can definitely see why she's done with the idea of being bait. I would too after all this. I really like your lineweights in these recent pages, they're super dynamic!

I'm also glad that they're able to suspend the water to some degree...(I wonder if this means Adrik'll show up soon. What does Enya have up her sleeves?)

Thanks so much! I've been trying to focus on improving the line art since you pointed out the "giant Bjorn" problem. :)

If all goes according to plan you'll find out what those two are up to fairly soon... Now that I'm free for the summer, things should be speeding up a bit ;) (no promises, though)

Such a beautiful page. X)

How was your trip? :)

Thanks! :)

The trip was a lot of fun! I'd never been camping before and discovered that I really love it. Also got to see a lot of cool rocks and climbed some rocks/cliffs that should not have been climbed.

The one kind of weird thing was that there were bears at two of the three mapping areas... One of the bears followed two of my classmates for over an hour and other classmates were growled at. Bears were my biggest fear going into the trip and I feel very fortunate that I never saw them. There was one person in particular that seemed to attract the bears for what ever reason.

Ah! Teamwork!

I'm glad that your camping trip went well. It's good that you didn't have any bear encounters too.

Did you remember to look at the stars at night?? It's one of my favorite things to do when I am away from all the light pollution of the world.

I did remember! The stars were gorgeous when they could be seen. Don't think I've ever seen so many stars at one time. :) There was also an extremely overcast night and it was scary just how dark and quiet things get out there.
